I’ve just come back from our Committee meeting and one point that was raised was that some members have been a little forgetful when asked if they have a locker or not in their back axle. At the next event and occasionally we will be testing vehicles to check on this just to make things fair for everyone. We have decided to offer an amnesty to all points earned up to now but in future any ‘forgetfullness’ will result in the loss of points on the day.
Another point that was raised was that one member was seen being winched to a punch by a friend. I was watching this at the time and can sympathise as the mud was deep and his winch was struggling so it would be quite normal to help someone out. However our rules say that you can only be winched away from a punch after you have got it and not too the punch which you should get under your own efforts. Please try & remember this but don’t stop helping each other when needed!
