Grampound Road Challenge Event 5/2/12
Hello everyone, What an excellent turnout at the event yesterday! Thankyou to all who attended. As you will see in the first couple of photos, we now have professional caterers attending the events. This seemed to go down very well, literally! They sold out!! Committee news
We discussed the low numbers in the extreme class and that most of the original entrants to that class seem to prefer not to 'knock themselves out' and enter an easier class. We always said that it would be reviewed after two events and due to the poor entry at Fraddon that will be the last 'extreme' event. Now the problem is how to keep everyone happy regarding points already earned! Many options were discussed but none were totally fair so in the end it was decided to bring an end to this years challenge series and start a brand ...

Challenge Event
On the 6th November, at Fraddon, we are having 'Challenge' event. Great day at Fraddon, plenty of sun & mud! This site always challenges the 'best 4x4 by far' and Sunday was no exception. Great to see a few of the Suzuki's taking part, they're getting thin on the ground now due to the tin moth. A big thank you to the girls in the catering tent, nice to see you back, they worked hard all day whilst everyone was playing! Sorry about the 'dashboard trophies' they did look bigger on ebay!! The normal ones will be back for the next event.
Christmas Event
CHRISTMAS CRACKER On the 27th December, at Mithian, we are having a 'Christmas Cracker' driving day. There will be fun things to do along with free mince pies & clotted cream and mulled wine for everyone. There will be no charge for entry, just come along and enjoy a bit of festive driving / socialising. Bring your partner & kids, prize for the most festive truck. Catering will be on site for this event.
