Drive off road in Cornwall with the Cornish Leaf and Coil Club, we are always looking for and eager to welcome new members, as well as continue to offer our existing members the opportunity to continue the popular challenge events. We are the original and best 4×4 club in Cornwall, hosting regular and challenging off road driving events for over 16 years.

We are now developing various opportunities for new members to come and join us and take part in off road driving with your family. Have a look at what’s available under the “events – what we do” menu above. Help and advice will always be available, and you will also be able to watch the antics of the challenge vehicles, and as your experience increases, may wish to join in and take part yourself.

For our existing members the challenge events will continue in a similar form to that which exists now, with the three classes of vehicle. The format for events is that we have monthly challenge events throughout the year, which involve having a punch card cable-tied to your vehicle and the object is to travel around the site locating the ‘punches’ and punching the card in the right place. It might sound easy but you haven’t seen where we put the punches! There are different difficulties of punches for winched and non-winched vehicles, to keep things fair. Each punch is worth a certain amount of points, which are accumulated throughout the year towards the ‘Challenge Series’. At the end of the year, trophies are presented to the members who accumulate the most points in their respective class at our AGM.

We try and make any really challenging bits optional to cater for mixed abilities and we say to any member, if you are worried about any of the driving, you don’t have to do it. We don’t want anyone over extending either their ability or their vehicle. Drivers briefing is always around 10 am so we ask for you to arrive in good time to get signed in and your vehicle scrutineered prior to this. We start packing up the course around 3.00pm during the Winter months and 3.30pm in the Summer months. We ask that you help us with the picking in of punches at the end of the day.

Spectators are welcome to our events at their own risk.
